We had a great Halloween in Idaho Falls. Shane had a bye week so we went down and spent a few days hanging out with the Hunters. We had a blast playing game, watching Shane's old high school play football, carving pumpkins and trick or treating. We had a great weekend in Idaho Falls hanging out with our family. It was a much needed weekend to have time together and for Shane to heal. Thanks Hunters for the great weekend.

FOOTBALL IS HERE!
Life has become super busy since football started in August. We have had many ups and downs this year but we are hoping it turns out for the best. Shane has been playing great. He has made many great plays some consist of an interception and fumble recovery. He has worked so hard and he has finally got his chance. He is doing great. Halle has really enjoyed going to all of the football games. She has been so good she just looks around and never cries. I am so thankful for that. When it is hot I put her under the bench to give shade to her. A little update on her she has been growing like crazy. She was in the 99% for heigth and 89% for weight. She is holding her head up all the time and she love laying down trying to grad the toys in above her. She is starting to laugh more especially when we make funny sounds or when her daddy sings to her. She loves morning time. Funny thing about her is when she sleeps she doesn't close her eyes all the way. She just doesn't want to miss out on anything. HAHA . Well I will try to keep things updated more often.

HALLE PAIGE HUNTER
Halle Paige Hunter was born July 1, 2010 at 10:22 pm. She weighed 7 lbs and 15 oz and was 20 1/2 inches. Halle came to us after a long long day. From what I understand labor can be a lot longer than what we went through, but while you sit there the time seems to pass as fast as a turtle in molasses. It was a grueling time just sitting there unable to do anything. Carrie's woke up a little after nine and then preceeded to to beleive she had peed her pants. This continued to happen roughly for an hour before she decided she needed to go see the doctor. When we got to the doctor she was quick to tell us that indeed her water had broken and she had not been wetting herself repeatedly for the past hour. She advised us to get our stuff together and head to the hospital. That is where it all began.
We arrived at the hospital around eleven thirty and were shown to our room. Carrie had not dialated much more than she was previously so the doctor told us it would be awhile. Lucky for the both of us Carrie is a trooper and Halle wanted to be born on the first and not the second. After being induced Carrie began to dialate quicker than they had anticipated. By eight she had gone from a three to a ten. After an hour of rest and descend it was time for the pushing. I found the whole process to be amazing. Lucky she had the epidural or Carrie would not have enjoyed it. Carrie did so well during this part. I was very proud of her. Finally our little angel was here.
Now we are home and everything is going great. Halle continues to bring us as much joy as the day she was born. She is so cute and loves to just sleep with either her parents or anyone that holds her. Pretty sure that is how all babies are but it just seems a little mmore special when it is your own child. She is a very well mannered baby. She does not cry that much and usually calms right down when she does get a little fussy.

Well a lot has happened over the past couple months in our little family. The biggest thing that has happened would be that we are expecting an addition to our family. We actually have had one already and the next one should becoming In July. The first addition was Howard. Howard is our black goldfish that has a great will to live. Howard came to us through a primary lesson that Carrie taught two months ago. We figured that a couple fish would help the kidspay attention and have fun.We figured that they would soon die. One of the two we bought did die three days later. Howard however survived on bread crumbs for the past two months. With this determination we decided to get him a new home and some actually fish food. We also got him two more buddies to hang out with. Sadly to say its been a week and both of them have passed on. Howard however is still going strong.
As for the other addition she will be coming here in a little while. The due dat on our little girl is July 8. This might be a problem as I really want to be in Idaho Falls for the fourth but I guess having your first child is a good reason to miss it. Either way we will be very happy come July. Carrie has handled the pregnancy very well. She did not have too much sickness in the first little bit andnow the only thing that gets her now is some heartburn. She has handled this like a champ. She is getting to the point that she is readyto have the baby. It will be very fun and exciting summer for us.
