It was a grueling time just sitting there unable to do anything. Carrie's woke up a little after nine and then preceeded to to beleive she had peed her pants. This continued to happen roughly for an hour before she decided she needed to go see the doctor. When we got to the doctor she was quick to tell us that indeed her water had broken and she had not been wetting herself repeatedly for the past hour. She advised us to get our stuff together and head to the hospital. That is where it all began. 
We arrived at the hospital around eleven thirty and were shown to our room. Carrie had not dialated much more than she was previously so the doctor told us it would be awhile. Lucky for the both of us Carrie is a trooper and Halle wanted to be born on the first and not the second. After being induced Carrie began to dialate quicker than they had anticipated. By eight she had gone from a three to a ten.
After an hour of rest and descend it was time for the pushing. I found the whole process to be amazing. Lucky she had the epidural or Carrie would not have enjoyed it. Carrie did so well during this part. I was very proud of her. Finally our little angel was here.Now we are home and everything is going great. Halle continues to bring us as much joy as the day she was born. She is so cute and loves to just sleep with either her parents or anyone that holds her. Pretty sure that is how all babies are but it just seems a little mmore special when it is your own child. She is a very well mannered baby. She does not cry that much and usually calms right down when she does get a little fussy.
